Produce / Hay / Straw
At Ruggles Farm we farm approximately 300 acres of hay each year intended for horse consumption. We have a wide range of variety and cuttings, from grassy first cutting to pure alfalfa third cutting. We produce both small squares and round bales. Generally we begin producing hay the first week of June and finish up in late September. Prices vary depending on many different circumstances, so for an accurate price feel free to call us at 248-887-8247
Straw is another product we offer for sale, only in small squares. We carry straw year round, but price can vary so again for a price call.
Produce is a large enterprise for us. Each year we attempt to grow a wide variety of product such as sweet corn, zucchini, tomatoes, squash, green beans, cucumbers, egg plant, and many more. All products we grow are sold at our two farm markets. During the harvest we are able to sell product in bulk for a discount, or you can pick your own if desired.
